Global Sustainable Supply Chains

Programme Overview

In this module, students will become experts on the following topics in sustainable global supply chains: Supply chain risk management, supply chain network design, responsible supply chains and closed-loop supply chains.

Learning Outcomes

1. Apply supply chain risk management frameworks while addressing coordination and risk-sharing complexities in supply chains;
2. (Reflect on and explore global supply chain design decisions while using qualitative and quantitative methods;
3. Analyse issues and approaches of responsible supply chains;
4. Discuss distinguishing factors of cross-border trade and logistics;
5. Reflect on challenges and opportunities of closed-loop supply chains using qualitative and quantitative methods;
6. Discuss distinguishing factors of sustainable supply chains.
